Best luck on your next 500.... tho, little ones keep you plenty busy and the 24/7 of it all often means that when one has the time to do something... there just isn't the energy! A happy reason to sit & applique or knit. As far as US deficit, in MHO, the problem has more to do with pork-barrel legislative amendments than with adoption tax credits. The tax code has ALWAYS been used to help promote socially desirable behaviors and our society definitely benefits from adoptions. I'll happily consider my taxes fund your credit...
