Lila is expecting baby girl #2 in a few weeks so she made a road trip to get in a little "girls weekend" time before the big event. After dinner, we had a chocolate lovers dessert..homeade brownie, layered with chocolate/vanilla checked ice cream, a homeade chocolate chip cookie (special dark chips) covered in Hershey's syrup. I couldn't finish mine...but I don't like chocolate all that much. She and Baby loved theirs. Wonder if the baby slept at all that night with such a sugar rush? Sofia will soon be a big sister, but at just 22 months she may not embrace the idea just yet. She and her sister will be almost exactly the same age apart as Kim and I. Glad we got this time together!!

I bet this future yellow jacket was jumpin' all night! Glad you two had fun together... these weekends will become all too rare before very long. Lila looks great!

It WAS a GREAT and much needed girl's break!!!! Thanks for having me on such short notice too. The baby LOVES sugar :o) Seems like that's all she's been craving for the past month!!!!!! We ate ALL of the chocolate chip cookies (with DARK chocolate chips) that you sent home with us - YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
