I'll Make mine Blue

I picked up this pattern at a quilt shop in Estes Park Colorado. I loved all the stars and the snowmen are doing all kinds of winter sports...skiing, sledding etc. I haven't done a quilt like this before and think it will be fun. I think I will make mine in blue. There are several projects ahead of this one, but I can go ahead and have the patterns traced and have some hand work ready to go when I need a project to travel with.

I couldn't enlarge it to see the designs for hand embroidery but it looks fun. You could always use your BOM's from this year in your border, they're already done! (If you chose the blue and white option.)

I've been tempted by this one several times but fell for the similar Halloween themed quilt instead. I need to pull it out and do a little work on it since Halloween is coming up again.

I did all the stitcheries in red this past year while on the road, now I have one of the large stitcheries traced in blue, will have them all ready before we go back on the road in February....I enjoyed the embrodery and am looking forward to getting the blue one started.....but when will I ever get a quilt made.....That's a million dollar question....I sure hope I live to be about 110 years so I can at least get a few of the things done that I want!!!!
I think you will enjoy embrodering these as well!

I have this same pattern and a few blocks done. It is a great hand project to have.
