LP called Friday afternoon with a set of extra tickets to see BB King. She knew Go Postal was a blues fan...and I have to admit its something I am learning to like. BB is 82 and even though he sat through most of his performance and mixed in a lot of storytelling...he was worth every penny. In a day where most entertainers seem more about the $$ than the music, he was a breath of fresh air. His voice is still pretty clear and he and Lucille can still turn out that very distinctive sound. He had a full band complete with three horns and they were all having fun. He stayed on stage and signed autographs after the show...when is the last time you saw that at a concert? Thanks LP for thinking of us...we had a great time.
